April Growing Update

Spring is such an magical time of year for us, let's give you a little update.

We recently weeded the six beds of spring carrots we had planted and they are looking wonderful. In the other two greenhouses we have completely seeded them both out in a successional manner. Our first sowings of loose leaf lettuce, carrots, beets, kohlrabi, tatosi, arugula, red mustard, spinach and spring radishes are coming along great. The first harvests should start happening within the next couple of weeks. Red Russian, Red Chesnok and baby garlic is up in our outdoor field rows and our chives are starting to wake as well.

This weekend you can find Rylee at the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market every Saturday from 8am-3pm. Our Central Alberta drop off and delivery is this Thursday, check out our website to see what is in stock over the next couple of weeks or purchase a produce box.
