Locally Inspired Soup & Plus a Harvest Festival

Soup season is here and we created this bowl by browning extra lean ground beef from Four Whistle Farm. Adding chopped mirepoix (rainbow carrots, shallots and green celery) plus garlic and let that sweat in our stock pot. Added in chopped thyme, summer savoury, rosemary, parsley, basil, kidney beans, 2023 canned crushed tomatoes, sliced fresh sakura cocktail tomatoes and homemade chicken stock. Cooked on low for an hour or two. Boiled water and cooked fresh pasta from Pasta Delight Ltd. Garnished with nasturtium leaves and flowers.
