Parsnips are a root veg that has a creamy white flesh and smooth skin. Nutty and sweet flavour. Can be used in both sweet and savoury cooking applications because of the higher sugar content. They make a great puree or add into mash potatoes. Roast up with other veggies or BBQ them. Slice thin and create chips or cut into wedges. Try in your grain bowls, curries, soups or gratins. You may add into slaws or salads as well.
