Edible Flowers - Reel

Edible flowers are the perfect addition to most meals! They are stunning and super simple to use! Try them as a garnish on your favourite dishes, tossed into salads, perfect in beverages, decorate your desserts, dried for teas and countless medicinal purposes.

Our flowers are grown in soil, without the use of chemicals or sprays. Here is a list of some of the different varieties that we are growing this year and their flavour profiles.

Pansy • Lettuce with evergreen notes

Viola • Sweet, vegetal with light mint and wintergreen notes

Borage • Sweet like honey mixed with faint vegetal notes

Chamomile • Mild, sweet, herbaceous, and earthy

Calendula • Bitter, tangy, herbal, and peppery

Marigold • Robust citrusy with a peppery and bitter notes

Zinnia • Subtle and bitter

Lavender • Sweet floral with a mild menthol notes

Nasturtium • Mild, peppery, and spicy

Chrysanthemum • Floral, sweet and sherbet notes

Coneflowers • Very floral

Bee Balm • Minty with oregano notes

Snapdragons • Slightly bitter

Basil • Light basil notes

Chives • Light onion notes

How to get Edible Flowers 1. We add them into our ‘Epic Salad Blends’ ever week, which is a fresh mix of our flowers, micros, leaves and herbs. Those will be available on our market table or online. 2. We offer them by themselves in two different blends - Sweet and Savoury. Currently only available online but will be on our market tables soon!
