Turn A Bed With Us Plus Chicken Action - Reel Video

It is incredibly fun to watch a bed go full circle in a matter of an hour! We had a 1/2 of a row in the greenhouse of spinach that was about to go to seed and we got the final harvest and gave our favourite little guys a quick snack with the leavings.

Once the boys were munching, the bed got weeded and we slapped in some giant red celery starters plants and turned on the irrigation lines. Before I hear about my not so straight lines… first of all they look way better in person and secondly, there is no straight lines in nature!

Finally, we moved back to the pen and to removed all the stems and roots from their area and moved them to our composting pile near the garden, which will be right beside / engulfed our boys permanent home.
