Buddha Bowls + Farmers' Market Finds
Buddha or hippie bowls are heaven on earth. Why you might ask? Because they the perfect bite of everything. They are filling, nourishing, gorgeous and also freaking tasty. These bowls can help clean out your fridge of forgotten produce and leftovers really quickly. It only takes as long as your protein you choose to cook, making it easy for a quick dinner or lunch. It is completely customizable and you can add as much or as little of certain items as you like.
In the first photo we used rice noodles, sliced sweet ramiro peppers, turnips, cilantro, diced ginger chicken, spinach, miso roasted chanterelle mushrooms, sliced kohlrabi, asparagus and garnished with basil. Topped this bowl with a ginger and apple homemade dressing.
Second photo, we used jasmine rice, sautéed ground chicken, red cabbage, frozen corn from last year, sliced cucumbers, mini bell peppers, kohlrabi, spinach, asparagus, rainbow carrots, micros blend, feta cheese, black beans, basil and topped with a homemade balsamic dressing.
