Canadian Inspired Meal
This meal was absolutely perfect after our farm and market week. Hand crafted Surf and Turf made by Zeb and KK, what a treat!
A delicious barbecued bison steak from Mount Bison & Cattle Company. Grilled strips of our yellow and green zucchini and tin foiled our sliced norland red potatoes and sweet onions together. Sautéed fresh red Russian garlic, dill herb in farm fresh butter from Sylvan Star Cheese with prawns from Dolly's Fish Market. Topped with peppery nasturtium flowers which worked great with the steak.
We just love eating really amazing food and it is especially wonderful to support other local vendors that live the same dream we do!
Us three are in full swing of harvesting here at our small scale market garden. This week both online and at markets you will see new produce items like fresh orange carrots! Tonight is the cut off for Thursday delivery and pick up orders or come visit us at markets!
